“Through bold and innovative assemblies on many levels, I worked like a painter, fusing colours, with these exceptional gems and their magnificent hues as my palette.

“I explored different ways of supporting the stones - opening up the angles of view as much as possible, multiplying light paths so as to allow glimpses of the faces which would otherwise be hidden by the settings.”
